Government of India Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board Chennai, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC Chennai) has been formed for recruitment of candidates for various groups in Railways. RRC recruits candidates for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts in Southern Railway.

Other Pre-requisites for applying
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th Pass / ITI in relevant field from recognized institute/college.

Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance of written examination and PET, Selected candidates have to undergo medical test.

Application Fee: General & OBC candidates: Rs 100/- as DD in State bank drawn in favor of ‘The Assistant Personnel Officer, Recruitment RRC – 600 008’ pay able at Chennai.

North East Frontier Railway (NEFR) is the smallest of the 9 zones on the Indian Railways, but has the unique distinction of serving as many as ten States of the Indian Union, namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram. Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal. Besides, it also serves as a rail-head for the Himalayan kingdoms of Nepal and Bhutan and provides interchange facilities with Bangladesh Railway.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates who have completed their 10th standard or Certification in ITI or any other equivalent from a recognized institution can apply.
