High court of Punjab and Haryana Recruitment 2013 highcourtchd.gov: Applications from qualified candidates for 31 vacant posts of Senior Scale Stenographers are invited by the High court of Punjab & Haryana. There are 31 vacancies of senior scale Stenographers in The High court of Punjab & Haryana. The age limit for these posts is 18-30 years for general candidates and there is relaxation of age for others as per the govt rules.The selection is based on shorthand exam, Typing test followed by an interview. Any Bachelor degree holder from science or arts faculty from any recognized university is eligible to apply for these posts. In addition to degree the candidates shall have  the proficiency in the use of computers specially in  word processing and spread sheets.

The details of the number of posts and the pay scale are as follows: There are 31 vacancies and the pay scale is fixed as Rs. 10300-34800 and Grade pay Rs. 4400/- plus usual allowances.

Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates is based on a proficiency test of dictation at the speed of 100 w.p.m. in English and the short hand test at a speed of 20 w.p.m followed by the personal interview.

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.500 for General candidates and Rs.250 for SC/ST candidates shall be paid through Demand Draft/ Postal Order in favour of Registrar General  Punjab & Haryana High court payable at Chandigarh.
